The All India Consumer Price Index Number (AICPIN) for December 2022 is crucial for determining an employee’s final compensation. Every month, the Ministry of Labor and Employment publishes it. The Labor Bureau will make public the grand finale of AICPIN statistics for December on the last day of January 2022. The predicted Expected Dearness Allowance from January 2023 will expire on 31 January 2023.

Consumer Price Index India 2023
The Consumer Price index increased differently in each state. In 20 States, there was a rise of 1 to 16 points for Agricultural Laborers. Himachal Pradesh was at the bottom of the index table with 913 points, while Tamilnadu was at the top with 1337 points.
Tamilnadu, Tripura, and West Bengal (15 points each) experienced the largest increases in the Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural Laborers and Rural Laborers, respectively. These increases were primarily brought on by increases in the prices of rice, wheat-atta, fresh fish, onions, dry chilies, vegetables, and fruits.
Inflation rates for food were 7.05% and 7.00% in October 2022, respectively, compared to 7.47% and 7.52% and 0.39% and 0.59% in the comparable month of the previous year.
