For retired members of the armed forces, the government instituted the One Rank, One Pension (OROP) program in 2015. According to this plan, regardless of retirement date, all employees who retire in the same rank and with the same amount of service are entitled to the same pension. In 2016 and again in 2017, the plan was changed.
The government may assure that all former soldiers receive the same pension sum, regardless of when they retire, by implementing the One Rank One Pension system. The program is an excellent method to keep track of the many pensions being paid out to various people.
The Department of Ex-Servicemen of the Ministry of Defence published a notification of considerable significance on January 20, 2023, regarding the updated One Rank One Pension (OROP-2) table for Defense Forces Pensioners.

OROP Arrears Table 2023
The amount of money that each retiree is owed by the government is listed in the OROP arrears table. The data is updated annually, and the most recent version is available on the Ministry of Defence’s official website. The table is split into two sections: one for retirees who took their retirement before January 1, 2016, and one for retirees who took their retirement on or after that date.
Each retiree’s financial obligation is detailed in both parts and is determined by their rank at the time of retirement. For pensioners, the OROP arrears table is crucial because it tells them how much money the government owes them. Advocates and attorneys who fight for pensioners’ rights can also benefit from it.
