Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS): The Central Government Health Scheme is a scheme started by the central government of India. This scheme is to provide medical treatment to Central government employees, pensioners, and family pensioners across India. CGHS Ward Entitlement 2023 for Central Government Employees and Pensioners has been modified. The General Ward for individuals with a Basic Pay of up to Rs. 36500. Basic Pay within the range of Rs. 36,501 to Rs. 50500 are Semi Private Ward are applicable. A Basic Pay exceeding Rs. 50500 are eligible for the Private Ward. The treatment packages is vary among the treatment which was taken to the patient. Half of the amount is paid by the central government.
