KVS Class 1 Admission Kick-off Date & Time 2023-24

Kendriya Vidyalaya schools admission for the academic year 2023-24 class 1 was started on March 27, 2023. The procedure to enroll in the admission in KVS is online. The admission is conducted online. Interested people can get details on the website or by visiting directly.

The registration process for Class 1 will be available online starting today at 10 AM.

Documents Required for KV Admission 2023-2024

The following documents are needed for the application process:

• Valid mobile number
• Valid email address
• Digital or scanned photograph of the child (JPEG file, maximum size 256KB)
• Scanned copy of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file, maximum size 256KB)
• Government certificate details if applying under the economically weak section
• Parent/grandparent’s transfer details if their service credentials are being used in the application.

KVS Admission Portal First-Time Registration 2023-24

1. First Name, Middle Name, and Last Name: Enter your child’s name correctly, using only English letters, and spaces.
2. Differently-abled Child: Indicate whether your child is differently-abled by selecting “Yes” or “No.”
3. Date of Birth: Provide your child’s date of birth.
4. KVS Employee Child: If you’re an employee of KVS, specify your status in the drop-down menu. If not, select “Not Applicable.”
5. Email Address: Enter a valid email address so that you can check information regularly.
6. Mobile Number: Provide the mobile number that you have access to. This number is used for OTP verification, application submission, and communication with the school.
7. Captcha Code: Enter the captcha code displayed on the screen to proceed. If you can’t read it, generate a new one by clicking the button next to it.
8. OTP Verification: After clicking on “Register,” an OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter it correctly on the screen and click on “Verify.”
9. NOTE: Once you’ve verified the OTP, an acknowledgment page with a unique Login Code will appear. Save this code carefully, as it’s required to log in to the admission application portal. You’ll also receive the code through email or SMS.
10. Keep a printout of the acknowledgment page containing the Login Code safe. Without it, you won’t be able to submit your admission application.

Distance Criteria for KV Admission 2023-24

 According to the Right to Education (RTE) act, Distance is important for admission for the child. The school is located in a major city or urban area, and the limit of the places and areas in other neighborhoods is a 5 km radius and an 8 km radius. The child eligible for admission in the RTE category must reside within 5 km in major cities and urban areas, and within 8 km in other areas.
