In 1980, the Mandal Commission reported that the OBC category totals 52% of the population in India. In 2006, National Sample Survey Organization announced that the OBC category was decreased to 41%. OBC category was familiar in India. There are many caste divisions in India. The common caste in India is General Class, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Economically Weaker Sections(EWS).
The government of India declares “Other Backward Class” (OBC), as either educationally or socially disadvantaged people. OBC has categories like BC and MBC category people.
