TN Village Office Holiday List 2023

TN Village Office refers to any village office hereditarily prior to the Constitution’s inception for the purpose of carrying out duties related to the administration or collection of revenue, the maintenance of order, the determination of boundaries, or other matters of the civil administration of a village.

Functions of VO authorities

  • The VAO is in charge of collecting dues such as land tax and panchayat taxes.

  • If there are any natural disasters, he is in charge of relocating the population and providing food.
  • He keeps track of all the farming, irrigation, and other related accounts.
