The state of Kerala was formed in 1956. The India Corruption Survey 2019 declared by Transparency International Kerala the least-corrupt state in India. The Government of Kerala announced Public holidays and Optional holidays for 2023. Generally, Second and Fourth Saturdays and Sundays are holidays given by the Government of Kerala.
